Our Eastern Red Cedar Mini Clipboards are meant to hold a nice stack of paper and give a firm solid surface for taking notes, writing and organizing paperwork. This is not the average clipboard found at the local store thats usually thinner than your stack of paper. These are handmade by craftsman and each one is unique. This hearty wooden clipboard is made from Eastern Red Cedar. Some might call it Aromatic Cedar. We use leftover scrap pieces from larger projects, old swingsets, furniture and fallen trees. We're able turn what would most would consider firewood into beautiful practical works of clipboard art that beg to be used everyday. We keep them simple and sand with 100 grit sandpaper to give a slight rough texture that's easy to grip and seems to hold the paper a little better. Once the texture is just right, we apply several coats of linseed oil and let dry for a few days. Order mixed wood for an even more unique look. These clipboards are made ready to work.
