If you've ever dreamed of having your own treehouse, but don't have the trees or the budget to get what you want, now is your chance. The one and only very talented Jack Otter has decided to offer these wonderful works of tree art in table top form that doesn't require a tree or any real estate. These are custom made for you and will reflect your childhood or adult dreams.
Custom Designed Tabletop Treehouse Made to Order
Treehouses may be timeless but they are not always practical. Unless you have a piece of country land and the perfect tree, building a treehouse in an urban area can require HOA approval, city permits or approval from your next door neighbor. Don't forget that a large treehouse in your backyard is an even bigger commitment of time and energy if you do it yourself and if you hire a real treehouse builder who knows what they are doing, it can be a sizable financial commitment.
The model shown above is being used for demonstration purposes. It is not for sale.
These handmade custom tree house models are made for your desktop, table, or shelf and they do not require government or neighbor approval. Your model treehouse only requires your imagination and a large enough area to fit the structure. These are made for you and are made to make make you happy. Each treehouse is made specifically for the client who commisions Jack to build one. Even though these are just models, it's surprising how they draw you in and in an instant you are magically transported to a time and a place from long ago or to a peaceful place sitting in a tree looking over a valley without ever leaving your home.
Shut Up and Take my Money. How Do I get My Own Treehouse Model?
We treat these treehouse models just like a real tree house. To get started, Jack will want to spend some time getting to know you and what you're wanting to accomplish. His initial consultation is $50 and during this consultation, you will have a chance to convey your treehouse wishes to Jack and he will establish an estimated cost of your treehouse project model. If you're just shopping around and are not committed to building your treehouse art, we do not reccommend the consultation. This consultation is for committed clients.
Once your $50 non-refundable consultation fee has been paid you will be contacted via e-mail to schedule a phone consultation.

The Jack Otter's rate to build your treehouse will vary depending on the amount of detail, size and length of build time. His build time is billed at $32/hr. Minimum build time is 15 hours. A deposit of approximately 80% of estimated cost will be required before any work begins. If you paid a $50 consultation, $50 will be applied to the build cost. Unless your project is gigantic, the materials needed to build the treehouse are generally included. Postage or freight is billed separately and will vary depending on size and what it takes to package and ship it safely. Local Pickup in Columbus, Tx is also available.
What Does It Do and Why Do You Do It Jack?
These little wooden treehouses are mostly for the fun of it, however after making a few of them, they turn out to be a great place to put things like keys, remotes, hats and tons of other stuff. They can be made with a lighting setup so they work as night lights, outdoor table light or nightstand. The real fun is daydreaming about living in one. The truth is, they just make you feel good.
The concept of tabletop treehouse models was developed mostly as a sales tool to help a potential treehouse client see what the real finished product might look like when complete. These models served the purpose of working out design, materials, and engineering of the actual tree house build before we would start. It's also a way to use our ever growing supply of used wooden swingsets that we're always trying to find a use for. We use the same material we use for our model redwood kits.
